El Viejo is a casual Central American Kitchen that celebrates my roots and highlights the rich, culinary traditions of Central America.
The term el viejo translates to the old man. Viejo is the nickname I grew up calling my father, or my old man. El Viejo is also the name of my mother’s hometown in Chinandega, Nicaragua.
